Day 14: Haarlem
In Holland, cat meow in dutch. I continue to looking for others bands, and start to find somes gigs in Haarlem and Berlin... I go to Briljant again and this time I understand the piano. C3G3C4 "Your compass doesn't work because It shows the north. He need to listen 24 hours of a 311,13 Hz sound". D#? okay. I play this tune and the barman kick my ass and throw me outside. I only have had to play 22 hours now.
Back to home, we take the bicycle and go to see 65daysofstatic. Gig? no, it's a movie. They play in live the soundtrack of Silent Running (1972). Oh.My.God. Okay I love post-rock.
Day 13: Haarlem
I'm sick. I was drunk or something high, yesterday night. Fucking strongs beers... Cups of tea, Yndi Halda. Some research on the internet and I find others bands... Nice. I leave to Briljant, but the bar is closed. I visit the city, and discover that the band 65daysofstatic plays tomorrow. It's a post-rock band. I buy 2 tickets but I discover too late I bought a pass for 2 days. So I invite Lisette to come with me at the gig tonight, we will see tomorrow, for the piano of Briljant. She bring me to Patronaat club, sitting behind her, on her bike, and we discover Battles.
Day 12: Berlin/Haarlem
I'm ahead I have to wait. 4 homeless ask me few coins, 1 girl flirt me, and 7 call me informations, in deutsh. "Ich will ein kind von dir, dude, sorry". Anyway, I meet the driver under the bridge. Well, I walked around the trainstation and under his 7 bridges and yes, I found the red car. Here we go.
I arrive in Amsterdam, and Lisette come to pick up me and bring me to Haarlem. Very nice. When we arrive at her home, she put a CD. Yndi Halda - Enjoy Eternal Bliss. Oh my god what's that? "Post-rock". It's awesome... Cup of tea, and I listen all the album.
We have time, so she bring me to Café Briljant. The streets are amazing, so beautiful, and with Yndi Halda in the head, I no touch the ground. She talk to the girl at the bar and I can play piano 5 minutes. Thank you. I took out my compass and sit at the piano. C2D#2F2 "Hi, I need your help". He whispered something but the bar is to noisy to understand... Mh, I have to come again tomorrow... Lisette offer me somes drinks. I forget the rest.
Day 11: Berlin
I make my bagpack. Tomorrow I leave to Amsterdam. But I'm not stupid: I start to look where I can find a piano. I send somes messages in somes websites. A guy answer me by a name of bar: Briljant, in Haarlem (near Amsterdam). They got a piano, and the barman is very nice. Thank you dude. Outside it's raining, I hesitate to go out to buy an umbrella or stay safety in home. I leave.
